Groundsworker – Construction

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Grounds worker to join our growing construction team working on a variety of projects across Northern Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in groundworks and civil engineering who take pride in delivering high-quality work in a safe and professional manner.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Groundsworker, you’ll play a key role in preparing sites and carrying out a wide range of groundworks, including:

• Excavation and site preparation.
• Installing drainage systems, manholes, and underground services.
• Laying kerbs, paving, block paving, and concrete.
• Trenching, backfilling, and reinstatement works.
• Reading site drawings and following instructions from supervisors.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Working collaboratively with site managers, engineers, and other trades.
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Previous experience in construction groundworks.
• A strong understanding of safe working practices.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to carry out physically demanding work.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Desirable:

• Valid CSR card.
• Experience in drainage, kerbing, paving, and concreting.
